The user was at the center, and for each contact there was a bullet. Between each person that was connected, there was a line (not only by the user and the contacts, but also between all the contacts).

Since. I discovered it, I had keep some screenshots of my network. Now that the tool has been closed and it will be impossible to take more, I’ve put them together and it can be seen the evolution of my network.

I hope that LinkedIn is working at a new tool, because it was a great way of exploring the network.

I have done some research and I came across phpMyFAQ. It is a system that provides a ready-to-use FAQ platform.

The installation was very easy, but I had some troubles at the moment of the first login (if you install it, don’t use an email as a login user :P).

My first impression about the software was “what a chaos”. But after some configurations, and filling it with some content. Now I’m very happy with this system. My best improvement has been to change the theme to Spacelab.

If you are asking yourself “why do you need a software for a FAQ?”, I would say you that, the time you should spend to build a custom FAQ system is far longer than if you use a system like phpMyFAQ.

This software provides  you with  the storage management, a category system, tag related topics, search functions,… If you develop it as yourself, you will probably build an static page with some Questions an Answers. And this is not the better way to provide help to the users.

You can see the FAQ of ShareIt.so at http://faq.shareit.storn.es. Now I’m working to set as the domain http://faq.shareit.so.

My next task will  be to set a Ticket system for the support of ShareIt.so

Apart from that, I’ve changed the internal structure. Before it was a custom site (written in PHP) and now I’m using a CMS (a WordPress) with a pre-build design template.

The old site can be found at http://v1.nestor.cat/ I’ll keep a copy of it (as long as possible).

At the moment that I’m writing the unique problem is that nestor.cat is only in English (before it was in Catalan and English), I’m dealing with the localization. I don’t know which of the methods I’ll use, I’ll probably write a post when I’ve decided and implemented it.
